Product Development Assistant

We are looking for a Product Development Assistant who can help manage the apparel development process from concept through sample completion. This person will work closely with internal partners and vendors to keep timelines on track, maintain accurate product information, and support the successful execution of seasonal styles. Responsibilities: Support the development of seasonal apparel styles from initial concept through final sample stages Partner with design, technical, sourcing, and production teams to maintain progress against key deadlines Track sample status, development milestones, and calendar deliverables across product categories Maintain and update product specifications, bills of materials, and development records Communicate with domestic and international vendors regarding sample timing, updates, and follow-up items Assist with fittings, take detailed notes, and share updates with cross-functional teams Review costing details and help monitor development needs related to quality, timing, and budget Help identify and resolve development or timeline issues in collaboration with internal teams and external partners Qualifications: Previous experience in apparel product development or a related field Knowledge of garment construction, fabric development, and trim sourcing Experience working with domestic and overseas vendors Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with spreadsheets, calendars, and product tracking systems Experience in woven or sweater categories is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
