Senior Software Engineer

Overview VTG is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on projects contributing considerably toward closing the intercept capability gap for state and local law enforcement agencies. This role is 100% onsite in Fredericksburg, VA. What will you do? Create custom tools necessary to evaluate mobile apps and IoT devices; evaluate the feasibility of intercepting communication services; evaluate smartphones applications / IoT devices to familiarize with specifics regarding their interaction with CSP networks and infotainment systems; assist state and local LE with the establishment of customer-hosted or supported services; familiarize with the functionalities and evidentiary results produced by commercial or proprietary LE digital forensics systems; assess industry forms and/or portals; document evaluation results on the customer website and create documents such as whitepapers, PowerPoints, and articles that illustrate the findings from the evaluations. Qualifications Must be a US Citizen with a Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph. Bachelor of science degree in an applicable field or equivalent with a minimum of eight (8) years technical experience as an applications programmer or developer. Minimum of five (5) years' experience developing in C# and a strong knowledge of ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, jQuery, JavaScript and JSON. Experience developing mobile applications for either iOS or Android operating systems. VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $120,000-$190,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range. #J-18808-Ljbffr
