Software Engineer

Software EngineerWe are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer to develop embedded and application-level software for high-performance thermal control systems used in the datacenter industry. The ideal candidate brings strong Python, JavaScript, Linux, and other systems-level programming experience with a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.The role will include:Working with multi-discipline team to develop thermal control products involving a diverse set of control algorithms and hardwareFull lifecycle development and support of custom thermal control application softwareSupporting proof-of-concept studiesMaintenance and enhancement of software on existing thermal productsSoftware development using Python, JavaScript, C#, or other high-level languages for application/driver deployment on Linux and Windows systems.User Interface programming using Qt, Visual C, or similar toolsetsBasic (required) Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field and 5+ years of related experience.4+ years experience in software development using higher programming languagesEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
