Position: Billing Specialist

Summary: Breathe Better Rehab (BBR) is committed to providing exceptional customer service to each and every patient. We want each patient’s experience to be nothing less than exceptional! The BBR Billing Specialist is a direct representation of BBR through efficient billing methods and providing excellent customer service when interacting with patients.

The Billing Specialist is responsible for working closely with the Provider and Administrative teams on a daily basis. All employees must model the BBR brand by showing passion, creativity, quality and efficiently complete all tasks assigned while achieving goals of the team.

Compensation:

$45,000-$50,000 annually (based on experience)

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Reviewing and adjusting claims as needed
• Keeping track of collections and money owed
• Work with the Director of Operations regarding billing issues
• Post received payments
• Manage account balances to keep track of credit/debt
• Monitor data input to ensure accuracy of final billing
• Submit claims / assist with correcting and resubmitting denied claims
• Report on all account activity and statistics to management

Requirements

• General understanding of Google Drive and Microsoft Office
• Superior communication skills
• Organized and able to multitask
• Excellent math skills
• Adhere to confidentiality guidelines
• General understanding of rehabilitation billing preferred
• Must reside in Maryland
