Description - Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols.
• Assess results for accuracy, address issues, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Document all processes meticulously, mentor new staff or students, and support adherence to laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a safe and clean work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Acquire ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
