Attention MRI Technologists looking for FT (M-F 2:30pm - 11pm, 8 hour shifts : Rotating Weekends and Rotating Call schedule : Weekend 7am - 3:30pm). We are now part of Northwell and offer tremendous career growth and opportunities. Pay based on full years of experience in MRI and ranges from $46.90 - 58.63 per hour plus shift differentials. (0 years +) Summary Performs high quality diagnostic and accurate MRI procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients. Responsibilities Provides optimum patient care. Demonstrates knowledge and technical expertise to safely & correctly operate MRI equipment. Perform and record daily QA. Develop skills to practice in a safe, clinical environment. Develop skills in Contrast Administration. Demonstrates self direction and utilizes problem solving techniques. Cross trained in another modality. Maintains technical competency in the following less frequent order procedure (2 or more years experience). Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position. Performs other duties as assigned. Education
HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT
Other Information Minimum Experience: one year Desired: 3 years experience in MRI; background in ultrasound or CT scan. Working Conditions Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity Occupational: Significant occupational risk Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort.
