Night Replenishment Manager

Position Purpose Night Replenishment Managers (NRM) are members of the store leadership team and oversee freight handling activities. NRMs supervise the freight unload, pack out, and pack down processes. They communicate priorities, ensure nightly tasks are completed, and that freight moves smoothly throughout the store. The NRM will teach, coach, and train associates on Home Depot policies and procedures and ensure all associates work safely at all times. When no other manager is available, the NRM may be the sole manager available and will make business and associate decisions in partnership with appropriate resources and following SOPs. NRMs provide input to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers on associate performance through ongoing performance management and talent‑planning discussions. Although the NRM does not have direct reports, they participate in the selection process as needed. Each associate is responsible for a safe working environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing required safety training, correcting hazards immediately, and working safely so as not to endanger themselves, coworkers, vendors, or customers. Key Responsibilities People: Provide in‑the‑moment coaching based on observations, partner with Night Operations ASMs on performance conversations and discipline, recognize associates with BRAVO/Homer, conduct quality walks of completed tasks, ensure training requirements are met, give input on associate performance, and support the interview and hiring process. Address missed punches, variances, and schedule changes, and communicate follow‑up actions to Night Operations ASM and SM. Replenishment: Partner with Night Operations ASM to set efficiencies and overnight productivity. Directly supervise the Consistent Unload, Directed Packout, and Purge Pack‑down processes, execute quality walks, ensure timely receipt of trucks and trailers, pack freight efficiently, and keep the store ready for opening. Prioritize and communicate messages to all associates and leaders. Safety: Ensure associates follow all safety and hazmat procedures and Safety Matters guidelines, complete required safety training, use PPE and proper lifting techniques, maintain safe distances around lift equipment, correct unsafe conditions, and maintain clean aisles and flooring. Verify completion of all store checklists and provide corrective action and preventative measures. Shared Manager On Duty: Perform closing and MOD tasking, conduct hand‑off walk, validate priorities with ASMs and SMs, ensure completion of checklists, keep equipment and machines functioning, and review upcoming events or ads for required action. Physical Requirements Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. Working Conditions Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Minimum Qualifications Must be eighteen years of age or older.
