Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney

Attorney Position

Seeking an Attorney to prep for cases for trial, including drafting trial documents, motions in limine, and other required filings.

A highly regarded boutique litigation defense firm specializing in Medical Malpractice, Employment Law, Administrative Proceedings, and General Liability is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of one of Pasadena's leading litigation defense practices.

Salary: $115,000 - $200,000 per year

Position Overview

• Drafting, reviewing, and responding to discovery documents and motions
• Arguing motions in court
• Taking, defending, and summarizing depositions
• Interviewing witnesses and preparing summaries of those meetings
• Reviewing and summarizing medical records, HR records, and documents produced in discovery
• Preparing cases for trial, including drafting trial documents, motions in limine, and other required filings
• Conducting legal and medical research

Qualifications

• Active membership in good standing with the California Bar
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A self-directed, proactive approach to case management
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• While prior litigation experience in healthcare law is preferred, applications are welcome from developing attorneys who possess strong litigation fundamentals, a commitment to excellence, and a demonstrated interest in these practice areas.
