The Diesel Parts Counter Salesman plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting sales and mechanic operations. This position is responsible for accurately identifying parts, managing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining strong product knowledge, specifically about certain brands. The role involves both in-person and remote customer interactions and works independently without travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and support
• Accurately identify parts and assist customers with their needs
• Manage inventory and ensure stock replenishment
• Process orders and sales transactions efficiently
• Maintain detailed and accurate records
• Communicate effectively with vendors and handle warranty issues
• Provide pricing and quoting based on product knowledge
• Utilize knowledge of specific brands to assist customers

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in retail or sales
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in customer service and inventory management
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Strong product knowledge and communication skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiar with sales techniques and basic math
