Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Part-Time Supervising Speech Language Pathologist for a school setting in Steger, IL. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by administering evaluations, developing therapy plans, supervising speech and language services, and collaborating with teams to support student outcomes. Why Join Us Competitive pay (Up to $70/hour) + steady school-year schedule W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits* + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses (up to $500) Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses (up to $3,000) What You’ll Do Provide speech and language evaluations to assigned students Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs Supervise SLPAs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication and learning Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to service recommendations Maintain compliant and confidential student records in accordance with regulations What We’re Looking For Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School SLP endorsement Valid Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation SLP license Master's Degree from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university in Speech Language Therapy Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills School-based experience preferred, not required About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
