We are looking for a full-time CNA or CMA to work closely with the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Practice Manager at Still Waters, assisting with client/patient care. This individual will be physically located in Saline. Some of the job responsibilities are listed below:

Taking vitals and doing other screenings than documenting in the EHR

Administration of injectable medications

Printing lab requisitions and reviewing lab results.  Following up on tests not completed

Assisting with medication refills, prior authorizations, disability paperwork etc.

Following up with patients who need scheduling

Reviewing and responding to Portal messages/tasks for Psychiatric NP’s

Assisting with other office or front desk tasks as assigned.  These can include but are not limited to answering phones, scheduling/rescheduling clients following specific guidelines, checking in and checking out clients collecting appropriate fees, and obtaining/reviewing insurance benefits.

The ideal candidate is a socially skilled, well-organized but flexible individual, good at multitasking, proficient in technology, and with a strong work ethic. They must be able to work in culturally appropriate ways with a diverse staff and client population. Having previous experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting is a big plus. Must be able to work some evening hours.
