Speech Therapist

Position Purpose Provide patient care, consultative and educational speech therapy services. Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care team to improve patient outcomes. Evaluate, administer, and document speech therapy services provided as prescribed by the referring practitioner. Establish speech therapy plan of care and goals; re‑assess patient progress at appropriate time frames; complete documentation supporting the need for speech therapy services. Education Master's degree in speech‑language pathology or its equivalent from an accredited academic institution. Experience / Specialized Skills / Aptitudes Experience dealing directly with the therapeutic needs of individuals with disabilities and with physical activity. Teaching and instruction skills. Clerical accuracy and accuracy of prescriptions and procedures. Manual and finger dexterity and motor coordination. Interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Treatment and discharge planning experience. Safety‑conscious and effective communication skills. Licenses / Certificates Licensed speech‑language pathologist in the State of Pennsylvania. BLS required and must be completed prior to the end of the orientation period. Applicants with a provisional license or seeking a clinical fellowship are not eligible for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
