PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Alton, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex trauma cases and administering critical care to both adult and pediatric patients. The nurse will work in an acute care setting, providing life-saving care to a diverse patient population with a variety of diagnoses. Assignment Details Start Date: Not Provided Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend; Days on Saturday/Sunday, Nights on Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday Floating Requirements: Expected to float throughout the house, excluding ER & OB Charting System: EPIC Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2700 (negotiable) Responsibilities Provide critical care and monitoring for ICU patients Manage ventilators and medication titration Perform EKG rhythm assessments and interventions Collaborate with hospitalists and use eICU resources Float to other units as required Qualifications Required: Active IL nursing license or application initiated BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Comfortable with vent management and medication titration Experience with art lines and central lines Preferred: PALS certification Experience with CRRT and EVD/ICP Job Type Travel PEL/VIP Job ID 65827893.
