Sanitation Worker

Samuels Seafood Co., the nation's leading purveyor of fresh and frozen seafood, has a unique and exciting opportunity for a sanitation team member. This position is designed to clean and sanitize equipment in our food production facility. • Perform cleaning and sanitation of facility equipment and environment in a thorough and safe manner
• Perform routine custodial services, building and grounds upkeep, tasks required according to the master sanitation schedule and other duties as assigned
• Assemble and disassemble facility equipment.
• Responsible for all waste material and disposal
• Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified,
• Ensure accurate record keeping of performed cleaning is properly documented according to company policy.
• Adhere to all current SOP`s and SSOP`s.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to lift up to 45lbs continuously.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in extreme conditions (cold temperature(38°F) and wet environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours (Nights, weekends etc.)
