Staff Accountant

A leading real estate development, investment, and property management firm is seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or an experienced bookkeeper looking to take the next step in their accounting career. Responsibilities Prepare and post routine journal entries Understand and apply basic debit and credit principles Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records Assist with month-end closing activities Review transactions for accuracy and proper account coding Perform general bookkeeping and accounting duties as needed Support the accounting team with special projects Qualifications Recent college graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field , OR Up to 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience Solid understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles Comfortable with journal entries and routine accounting transactions Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Willingness to learn and grow within the accounting department This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a basic accounting foundation who is ready to build your career in a professional accounting environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
