- Shift / Schedule: 5x8; Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Day Shift)
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
- Travel Requirements: Not required

- Perform patient evaluation, plan of care development, and reassessments
- Deliver acute care physical therapy services across multiple units including ER, ICU, Medical Surgical, Orthopedics, and Geriatrics
- Develop and implement Home Exercise Programs
- Provide Patient and Family Education
- Perform lifting and transfer activities
- Assess and manage AROM/AAROM/PROM
- Utilize assistive devices including standard walkers, gait belts, and crutches
- Perform body mechanics instruction, pain assessment, skin integrity checks, strength testing, and vital signs monitoring
- Manage discharge planning and establish short-term goals
- Respond to call lights as required
- Operate hospital bed and supplemental O2 equipment
- Provide gait training and rehabilitation for conditions including hip fractures/injuries, knee injuries/tendinopathy, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, and post-stroke rehabilitation
- Treat patients with diagnoses including Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), and Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Acute care physical therapy clinical skills
- Home Exercise Program development
- Lifting and transfer techniques
- Patient and family education
- AROM/AAROM/PROM assessment
- Assistive device fitting and training (standard walker, crutches, gait belt)
- Body mechanics instruction
- Pain assessment
- Skin integrity monitoring
- Strength testing
- Vital signs monitoring
- Discharge planning
- Plan of care development and short-term goal setting
- Reassessment and documentation
- Gait training
- Management of hip fractures/injuries, knee injuries/tendinopathy, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, and post-stroke rehabilitation
- Clinical experience with COPD, CHF, CABG, and MI patients
- Proficiency with call lights and hospital bed operation
- Supplemental O2 familiarity
- CA PT License required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Acute care hospital setting (212 staffed beds)
- Charting system: Epic
- Scrub color: Navy blue (RNs); L&D/OR scrubs provided
- Free parking on-site
- Block schedule accommodations per manager discretion
- Physical demands include lifting, transferring patients, and extended periods of standing
- Local radius is 50 miles - local candidates must contact the Account Manager for the local rate
- RTO restrictions apply: RTO must be included at time of submission
