ABOUT THE ROLE

As a CBRE Material Handling Maintenance Senior Manager, you will manage the team responsible for the operation and maintenance of client and company facilities. This job is part of the Material Handling job function and is responsible for the incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Order and approve resources and materials needed for repair and maintenance work assignments. Create and execute preventive maintenance programs. Verify the team is in adherence to procedure standards and safety protocol. Oversee technical and safety training as needed. Develop department business plans and budgets. Execute preventive and strategic action based on results. Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans. Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity. Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
