Position Overview
The Site Superintendent will oversee daily on-site operations for high-end luxury residential projects in New York City. You will be responsible for managing subcontractors, enforcing rigorous site safety standards, and ensuring projects are executed according to architectural plans, schedules, and quality benchmarks. As a primary point of contact on-site, you must be a client-capable professional who can maintain a calm, problem-solving demeanor no matter the circumstance.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Management: Oversee all daily field operations, scheduling, and logistical coordination of premium construction projects.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Direct, schedule, and manage subcontractors to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict site safety protocols in accordance with OSHA, NYC DOB, and company standards to maintain a zero-incident job site.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Represent Liebhaber Company professionally in front of clients, architects, and designers through clear, articulate communication.
- Digital Project Management: Utilize Procore daily to manage daily logs, field photos, and safety tracking.
- Problem Solving: Maintain an unflappable, adaptable attitude when navigating complex logistical or structural challenges common in NYC luxury builds.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience supervising luxury residential construction projects in New York City. Experience in luxury retail or high-end hospitality sectors will also be strongly considered.
- Technology: Procore, MS Suite, Blubeam a plus.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour, and SST card preferred.
- Attributes: Exceptional leadership skills, construction knowledge, flexibility, and a desire for long-term career growth.
