About the Role:

Windward is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Wait Staff member to join our team! Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
• Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and allergen information
• Check in with guests throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction
• Process payments, handle cash, and operate POS systems accurately
• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and properly set between seatings

Requirements:

• Prior experience in food service, waitstaff, or hospitality preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive, guest-first attitude
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays as needed
• Must meet minimum age requirements per NJ state regulations for serving alcohol (if applicable)
