Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current Illinois SLP licensure and PEL (Professional Educator License) or eligibility
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting preferred
• Solid foundation in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for school-aged children
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, based on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments for students referred for speech and language concerns
• Develop individualized treatment goals and document progress
• Participate in IEP meetings with multidisciplinary teams, sharing insights and making recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress in the classroom
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions in a school setting
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
