R&D Lab Technician

R&D TechnicianOur client, a leading energy services company, is currently seeking an R&D Technician for their Houston-based R&D Center. Support the entire R&D staff in transitioning projects from R&D to production and maintain products in the post-rollout phase. Inspects, rebuilds, operates, tests, and troubleshoots tools. Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. Operates equipment and materials following OEM guidelines as well as standard operating procedures. Assists the R&D Lead Technician in evaluating tools using various mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic tests and measurements. Completes records and associated documentation for work performed. All duties are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards. Checks critical dimensions and features on parts received from vendors. General shop maintenance, including but not limited to shop organization and cleanliness. Performs other duties as assigned.
