⏰ Schedule: Monday-Friday | 40-50 Hours Per Week | 1st Shift
???? Additional Schedule Details: Long-term pharmaceutical construction project supporting mechanical installation activities.

The Construction Safety Manager will maintain a strong field presence while working directly with craft personnel, subcontractors, supervision, and project leadership to identify hazards, maintain compliance, and support the safe execution of mechanical construction activities.

Required Qualifications
✔ CSP (Certified Safety Professional) Required
✔ Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience
✔ Pharmaceutical Construction Experience Required
Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Process Piping Installation Experience
⭐ Equipment Setting and Rigging Oversight Experience
⭐ Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences Facility Experience
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide daily field safety oversight for mechanical construction activities
- Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
- Monitor rigging operations, pipe installation activities, equipment setting, and material handling operations
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and pharmaceutical project safety requirements
- Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
- Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
- Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
- Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
- Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project

Success in this role requires maintaining a strong field presence, proactively identifying hazards, effectively communicating with craft personnel and supervision, and ensuring pipefitting, rigging, and mechanical installation activities are executed safely while supporting overall project goals, regulatory requirements, and pharmaceutical construction standards.
