Electrician II Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment/machinery, or equivalent trade school/training combination
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology preferred
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• PLC programming experience (basic and ladder logic)
• Advanced troubleshooting skills involving electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair experience, or equivalent trade school/training. They are open to considering slightly greener candidates, but their target pay range should reflect that level of experience.
• Experience repairing and maintaining industrial equipment
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature controls, and pressure gauges

Duties

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial machinery, including HVAC systems, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic systems, and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical diagnostics problems, including electrical system faults, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) malfunctions, and electrical blueprint reading.
• Conduct equipment troubleshooting to identify root causes of failures and implement effective repair strategies to minimize downtime.
• Operate technical tools such as scissor lifts for elevated maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting pneumatic systems, hydraulic circuits, and other complex mechanical or electrical systems to optimize equipment performance.

Skills

• Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using schematics, technical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting methods for diagnostics and repairs.
• Hands-on experience with electrical maintenance including wiring, circuit analysis, electrical troubleshooting, and system repairs.
• Skilled in operating precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Ability to perform stick welding and welding repairs using various techniques to restore or modify equipment components.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) for maintaining climate control units within industrial environments.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, pneumatics troubleshooting, and control schematics.
• Experience with field service operations involving equipment repair in diverse industrial settings while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
• Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues quickly and accurately.
• Valid certifications for industrial electrician work or mechanical maintenance are preferred; familiarity with CMMS platforms is a plus.
