School Van Driver

Van Pool Transportation LLCA Driver Responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre‑trip inspections, performing child checks post‑route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver. Payment & Schedule Pay: $24.41/hour Paid Training: $20/hour Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM) Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours Why Drive with Van Pool? May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc) Drive assigned routes Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections Maintain a clean, safe vehicle Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies Requirements School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!) Safe driving record Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience Ability to pass background check , drug screening, & 7D physical Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written) Must live in the Waltham,Belmont,Lexington,Bedford or Burlington area.
