Hospitality and Leisure Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Hospitality and Leisure Associate to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will become a key member of a nationally recognized practice, working alongside industry‑leading partners and associates in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment. Duties Work on matters across the globe. Review, draft, and negotiate various agreements, including letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, hotel management, license and franchise agreements, and joint venture agreements. Advise on financings, including negotiation of loan documents and related deliverables. Manage deal closings from start to finish. Conduct due diligence and handle all aspects of transactional work. Requirements 2‑4 years of legal experience in real estate/transactional work (hospitality industry experience is a plus). Previous law firm experience (large and sophisticated deal experience preferred). Must be licensed to practice law and be in good standing in the state where the hired candidate will be practicing. Education Excellent academic credentials. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the relevant state. Skills Proven analytical ability. Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
