Sales Analyst, Institutional Sales

Job Description As a Sales Analyst for Institutional Sales within RBC's US Global Asset Management (GAM) business you will provide business management support to the Institutional Sales team with the goal of driving revenue growth. This early‑career role offers an opportunity to learn and develop a career within the investment management business. What will you do? Help develop and implement the team's business development plan, cultivate the assigned territory, and foster new relationships to drive sales. Assist the sales team on territory support, maintain up‑to‑date research on target markets/sectors using industry databases to identify selling opportunities around specific market segments. Work with the RFP Team and Institutional Sales to review draft responses, ensuring the RFP/questionnaire is customized to prospects' needs and collaborate with Marketing to leverage the firm's intellectual capital and present thought leadership to prospects and clients. Develop a targeted email communication plan to prospects, analyze e‑distribution data to support focused selling efforts, and maintain accurate prospect information in the CRM. Manage responses to prospect and client inquiries (e.g., quarterly questionnaires, RFIs, RFPs, sales reports, marketing campaigns, due diligence analysis). Establish regional and market‑segment‑specific email distribution lists within the CRM and manage ongoing distribution lists to ensure accurate data. Prepare and coordinate all aspects of sales presentations and due diligence visits such as logistics, prep packs, presentation booklets, briefing memos, agendas; host prospect meetings/calls, prepare materials, handle follow‑up and document meeting minutes. Conduct research projects to develop insights and understanding of specific market segments and trends and the solutions RBC GAM can provide. What do you need to succeed? Must‑have Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, or a related field of study. Demonstrated interest and curiosity in financial markets and a desire to build a career in investment management. FINRA Series 7 and 63 required (or ability to obtain within 6 months). Unrelenting attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Strong time‑management skills, able to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Adeptness in AI tools and the ability to incorporate them efficiently into workflows. Compensation The expected salary range for this position is $60,500–$104,500, depending on experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs.
