Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Part-Time (Set Schedule – Non-Negotiable)

These positions have a fixed schedule that cannot be changed.
If you are not available for the listed shift, do not apply.

Required Schedule A:

• Tuesday: 1 PM – 9:00 PM
• Thursday: 1 PM – 9:00 PM
• Every Other Weekend: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Required Schedule: B

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 1 PM – 9:00 PM
• Tuesday: 2 PM - 10:00 PM
• Every Other Weekend: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

This schedule is mandatory and non-negotiable.

About the Role

Join Open Hands, Inc. as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), providing care and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting.

We are looking for reliable, committed individuals who show up, follow through, and take pride in the work they do.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (similar to PCA/CNA roles)
• Transport individuals to appointments and community outings
• Support recreational and social activities
• Meal preparation
• Medication administration
• Encourage independence and life skills

Duties:

• Bathing, toileting, hygiene, and grooming support, Doctors appointment, etc.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Must pass background checks
