The role requires supervising nursing staff and ensuring quality patient care across multiple units. Responsibilities Directly support health care team members to meet hospital goals. Visit all units routinely to assess patient and caregiver needs and evaluate department activity. Analyze collected data, weigh alternatives, and make appropriate decisions. Coordinate patient placement for admissions or transfers according to unit protocols, patient needs, and staffing patterns. Review all admissions for appropriateness based on specific criteria. Qualifications Three (3) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute‑care facility. Experience as a charge RN preferred. Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program. Required Licensure / Certifications Current California RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
