The Dental Assistant plays a vital role within the dental team, supporting general dentistry and oral surgery specialties. This position involves preparing patients, assisting chairside during procedures, and ensuring a safe and sterile environment. The Dental Assistant will also maintain accurate patient records using specific practice management software and contribute to overall infection control and equipment maintenance. This role does not require travel and offers opportunities for continuing education and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental procedures
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments
• Perform dental radiography as needed
• Provide chairside assistance during treatments
• Maintain accurate patient records using practice management software
• Implement infection control protocols
• Maintain and monitor dental equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in dental assisting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• X-Ray Certification
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization techniques
• Experience with dental radiography and patient care
• Familiarity with dental software
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and teamwork abilities
