About The Role

Provide service and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating, and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' policies.

What You Will Do

Essential Job Functions

• Execute & handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs.
• Diagnose and handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.
• Respond to service requests regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in guest rooms or public area in a timely manner.
• Respond to all emergency conditions such as alarms, fires, power failures, etc.
• Electrical Trouble shooting and repairs.
• Perform electrical setups for banquets, buffets and exhibits.
• Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel.
• Install or relocate any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary.
• Perform all duties as assigned by ADOE or DOE

Job Knowledge & Core Expectations

• Working knowledge of HVAC & Plumbing systems operation and repairs.
• Life and Fire Safety System Knowledge. Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Mechanically inclined with all-around knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical and refrigeration. Hands-on capabilities for repairs.
• Steam and gas fired equipment knowledge.
• Knowledge of proper use and care of hand and power tools.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance.
• Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment.

Education & Certifications

• Specialized Certification required to operate or maintain property equipment, including but not limited to:
• Certified Pool Operator certificate
• EPA Certification
• Other relevant certifications as needed to comply with local and federal regulations
• High school education or equivalent experience
• Ability to read and speak and write English.

Non-Essential Functions :

Assist with energy conservation programs in the hotel. Assist in the installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment.
