Collections Manager

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid, 3 days in Midtown NYC) Overview A leading global law firm is seeking a Collections Manager to oversee day-to-day collections operations and lead a team of supervisors and collectors. This role partners closely with attorneys and finance teams to drive cash flow, reduce aging, and improve overall revenue performance. Key Responsibilities Manage collections across assigned portfolios, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding AR Oversee AR operations and cash application, including accuracy, reporting, and issue resolution Lead and develop a team (including supervisors), setting priorities and monitoring performance Handle escalations on complex or sensitive collection matters Partner with attorneys, billing, and finance teams to resolve disputes and improve collections outcomes Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce aging Qualifications 7+ years of legal or professional services collections experience Prior experience managing teams and overseeing workflows Strong knowledge of billing, AR, and collections processes Experience with systems such as Aderant or similar preferred Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work #J-18808-Ljbffr SR Staffing
