Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Neuro Med-Surg RN Shift: Nights, 3×12 — 6:45 PM–7:15 AM Contract: 13 weeks Ratio: 1:5–6 Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours/week Must-Haves 2 years of RN experience BLS/BCLS required Neuro experience preferred Must pass EKG testing before start Med-Surg/Neuro experience Epic charting experience preferred Unit Details This is a 36-bed Neuro Med-Surg unit with an average daily census of 36. Patients primarily have neurological diagnoses and neurosurgical procedures , including CVA/stroke patients. Key skills include: Neuro assessments and stroke/CVA care Telemetry and dysrhythmia recognition IV initiation and management Non-invasive airway management Isolation precautions Oxygen/nasal cannula Peripheral line care Ratio: 1:5–6. Contract Requirements Travel experience is not required Local candidates accepted; lower local rate within 50 miles Float required 12–16 weekend shifts per contract , with flexibility to discuss Up to 7 days RTO , but no RTO after booking No RTO during the first week Must work 2 of 3 major holidays May be assigned to Storm/Hurricane Team NC or Compact license pending is acceptable Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions allowed COVID vaccine not required Must complete lab testing within 48 hours of signing Pride Health Job ID 18928776.
