Corporate Manufacturing Finance Manager/Accountant Aurora, CO This opportunity will be posted and accepting applications on an ongoing basis. ICR, Inc. has opportunities available for motivated Corporate Manufacturing Finance Managers (FM). A successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the areas of manufacturing accounting and reporting, tracking costs/profitability associated with the builds of various commercial products, communicating effectively with various stakeholders, working in a fast-paced environment, and purchasing compliance. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Perform manufacturing financial accounting and analysis functions in support of ICR classified and unclassified programs. Work closely with ICR corporate accounting, manufacturing, purchasing, program Finance Managers, Contract Managers (CM) and Program Managers (PM) to ensure all program financial requirements are met that are dependent on the manufacturing of ICR commercial products. Provide project management/administrative support and coordination to a complex portfolio of various commercial products. Track charged hours, costs and expenses against WIP (work in progress) related projects. Maintain charge number access for employees across WIP projects (raw materials/inventory, commercial product WIP, and commercial product listing) Lead the manufacturing portion of the accounting month-end close process including: Ensuring timely and accurate journal entries and verify cost transfers upon closing of work orders Ensuring proper ICR vendor invoices are generated to direct projects where there is a commercial product sale to a government customer Run inventory valuation reports for raw materials, WIP, finished goods and reconcile any subledger variances Review all WIP work orders and confirm materials issued align with BOM expectations. Analyzing and preparing month end reports across WIP projects Assist manufacturing team with ensuring work orders are closed out in a timely manner. Assist manufacturing team during project transfers and closeouts to ensure material cost settles accurately. Assist in annual inventory reconciliations amongst all manufacturing sites. Prepare ad hoc financial reporting as requested. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Maintain commercial product pricing models and price listing across all sites. Provide pricing build-up support for new bid and proposal efforts. Analyze current and past financial data and performance. Prepare reports and projections based on this analysis. Identify trends in financial performance and provide financial models and recommendations for improvement. Work together as a team with other members of accounting, program finance, purchasing, and manufacturing to review financial information and forecasts and achieve better processes and procedures. Required Skills And Qualifications Must be eligible, and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Top Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required Background investigation required Bachelor's degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or related discipline. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or equivalent accounting software. Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles including invoicing. Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP). Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close procedures. Experience and proficiency working in an ERP system (SAP, Deltek Costpoint, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, self-starter, excellent organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a rapid growth and fast-paced environment. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Skills And Qualifications Active Top Secret security clearance with SSBI. Preferred seven to ten (7-10) years of relevant experience DOD/IC program financial management experience and/or commercial product cost accounting experience. Preferred experience with project and expense status, reporting and forecasting.
