Associate Attorney

Seeking an Associate Attorney with 5+ years of insurance defense experience. Candidates must have strong analytical, research and writing skills as well as the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Description:

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and other court-related documents
• Reporting effectively, timely, and professionally to clients
• Sending and responding to discovery, including coordination with clients to obtain relevant responsive documents and information
• Conducting legal research on a variety of issues relevant to insurance defense litigation
• Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, site inspections, and mediations
• Active participation in all aspects of litigation management

Qualifications:

• Insurance defense: 2 years (Required)
• 5+ years of insurance defense experience.
• Candidates must have strong analytical, research and writing skills as well as the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Solid insurance defense experience, including file handling and trial experience.
• Texas bar license (Required)
• 1920-hour billing requirement.
• This is a full-time in-office position with the potential for remote hybrid flexibility after ramp up.
• Admitted and good standing in Texas.
