Controllers, Financial Reporting, Vice President, New York

Job Summary:Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer of certain open-ended, alternative investment funds registered under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Vice President, Financial Reporting will have a key leadership role in the evergreen funds’ finance/accounting group and be responsible for the oversight of internal and external reporting, primarily SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) of certain evergreen fund registrants.Responsibilities include: For certain evergreen funds registered with the SEC, review and analysis of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) for accuracy and completeness in accordance with US GAAP and Regulations S-K and S-XPrepare quarterly/annual results for the CFO, disclosure committee and audit committee Facilitate 10-Q quarterly review and 10-K annual audit process for timely completion, including regular communication with the auditors Review Investor Relations materials for external communicationCollaborate with the Investor Relations as needed on due diligence requests Qualifications:8+ years of work experience including public accounting/Big 4Knowledge of public company accounting and financial reporting requirements are critical including General Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP), Sarbanes Oxley, and SEC complianceThorough knowledge of financial statements and accounting regulationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field CPA is requiredThe Vice President, Financial Reporting will be an enthusiastic and inspiring team leader and have a successful track record of building a culture of engagement and results.
