Registered Nurse - ICU

Travel RN – Medical ICU (Nights)

Dallas, TX

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical ICU setting, with assignments based on acuity and individual skill set
• Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
• Assist with and support bedside procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy
• Adhere to facility dress code and professional appearance standards while maintaining a safe and compliant care environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of MICU or MSICU experience
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas (temporary licenses are not accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Experience caring for MICU/MSICU patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• CCRN certification preferred
