This position is responsible for managing and maintaining billing processes to ensure accurate and timely submission of invoices to clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.**Position Responsibilities:*** Generate, review, and edit client pre-bills for accuracy* Coordinate the distribution of prebills and follow up with attorneys to ensure timely processing and approval* Prepare, review, and submit invoices via mail or email based on client requirements* Monitor invoice status and follow up on missing information, discrepancies or delays* Respond promptly to attorney and client-specific billing requests and questions* Perform monthly review and follow-up on Work in Process aging to ensure matters are billed timely* Collaborate with billing attorneys, finance, and client teams to resolve billing issues* Maintain organized billing records and documentation to support audits and inquiries* Assist with special projects and ad hoc billing needs as assigned**Job Requirements*** Legal background required, with a solid understanding of billing practices in a law firm or professional services environment.* 2-3 years of billing processing experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to manage complex billing cycles.* Experience with the Aderant Accounting System preferred; familiarity with other legal billing platforms is a plus.* Strong analytical skills required, with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial records.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; advanced skills in data management and reporting are advantageous.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.* Collaborative team player who can also work independently, demonstrating initiative and accountability.* Customer service-focused mindsetAt Bond, exceptional work product and a collegial work environment are cornerstones of our success.
