Opportunity to develop specialized skills in hazardous and non-hazardous materials handling. What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be: Handling, transporting, and storing inks, adhesives, chemicals, and related materials safely and efficiently. Performing color pulls for press approvals, minimizing waste, and supporting press operations. Receiving, unloading, staging, and moving materials to appropriate stock locations. Mixing, weighing, and delivering adhesives and inks to presses as needed. Color discrimination and color matching skills Preparing and loading hazardous waste shipments in accordance with regulations. Maintaining high housekeeping standards in ink and solvent areas. Completing cycle counts and inventory records. Cross training in other departments to support production needs. Training new team members and supporting ongoing staff development. Following all standard work procedures, safety guidelines, and plant policies. This job might be an outstanding fit if you : Have prior experience in ink handling, printing, or manufacturing (preferred, but not required). Possess a strong work ethic and can work independently as well as part of a team. Have basic computer skills for inventory and documentation. Hold a forklift certification or are willing to obtain one. Are able to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Can stand, sit, bend, stoop, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs; ability to leverage up to 400 lbs with hand trucks. Have a high school diploma or equivalent. What Happens Next?
