Financial Analyst, Sr.

Overview Job Area : Finance & Accounting Group, Finance & Accounting Group > Finance Company : Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. The following role supports the Compute Business Unit (QCT) pricing and analysis for the Personal Computing (PC) business line. The candidate will build and support financial models, analyze and report on key drivers of financial performance, and provide pricing support across stakeholders including Sales, Product Management, FP&A, Engineering, and Business Development. The ideal candidate has a strong finance background and familiarity with large, matrixed organizations. Semiconductor or tech industry experience is a plus. This is a high-visibility role offering analysis to the executive team while partnering with other finance and business organizations across the company. Main Responsibilities Provide financial modeling and business analysis on deal negotiations including revenue, COGS, and margin impact to Product Management and Business Development teams Present findings and recommendations to upper management to support long-term financial strategy Perform periodic variance analysis on pricing and incentive structures in line with accounting procedures (actual vs budget, claim vs accrual, etc.) Track incentive deals system updates and approval processes to ensure all deals are updated in the system by deadlines and in compliance with SOX controls Contribute to business unit forecasting of revenue, pricing, and gross margin by customer and product line Build, maintain, and publish executive-level dashboards with key insights using Tableau, Power BI, or other applicable tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the finance organization to craft consistent reporting and messaging Provide ad hoc analysis to support key business initiatives and special projects Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years of work experience (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with commercial pricing and incentives (semiconductor or PC experience preferred) Highly analytical and comfortable interacting across various business and finance teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong problem-solving ability Strong ability to collaborate across departments Equal Opportunity and Additional Information Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer. Pay Range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $88,000.00 - $132,000.00. The pay range reflects the broad minimum to maximum for this job code/location.
