HIRING NOW – MEDICAL CALL CENTER

We are seeking an efficient, patient-focused Call Center - Ambulatory Contact Associate to join a busy Specialty Care department focusing on non-surgical specialties (Dermatology and Urology). In this high-volume role, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling patient appointments, and processing referrals.

Location : Providence, RI (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $23.00 / hour

Schedule : Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Training Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (First ~2 weeks)

 

Key Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of inbound and outbound patient calls (80–100 calls/day).
• Utilize Epic to accurately schedule patient appointments, process referrals, and maintain patient records.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards while navigating fast-paced clinical scheduling workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with team leaders and management to meet daily department service targets.

 

Important Requirement:

Candidates must have prior hands-on experience with Epic electronic health records software to be considered for this position.

 

Key Performance Metrics

• Call Volume: Capability to comfortably handle 80–100 calls per day.
• Service Level Target: Answer 80% of incoming calls in 30 seconds or less.
• Schedule Adherence: Maintain "Available" status for >85% of logged-in time (unavailable/auxiliary time capped at <20%).

 

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior background in a high-volume healthcare call center or clinical front-office setting.
• Direct experience working within Epic (scheduling/referral processing).
• Strong verbal communication skills, high empathy, and professionalism over the phone.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and dedication to maintaining active phone status during operational hours.
