Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, conducting physical examinations and detailed assessments of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical patients through the analysis of imaging and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement specialized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including preparing surgical environments, ensuring proper positioning, and managing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which incorporates medication administration, wound management, discharge processes, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
