Location: Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry, 880 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, OH 43223Position: Full-Time, Child & Adolescent PsychiatristCompensation range: $320,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experienceOhio Hospital for Psychiatry is a leading medical acute inpatient & outpatient treatment center in Columbus, OH, treating suicide, addiction, memory disorders & mental health issues. Responsibilities

Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.

Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.Licenses/Certifications:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry preferred.Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.Our Comprehensive Treatment Network ~23,500 Employees · ~11,400 Beds · 258 Locations · 38 States · 1 Network As a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services in the United States and Puerto Rico, Acadia Healthcare operates 258 treatment facilities across 38 states.
