Step into a dynamic and rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a thriving school community near Florissant, MO. We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential services for elementary-aged students, many of whom utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. You’ll primarily serve one campus with the possibility of assisting another nearby, making flexibility and adaptability key assets in this engaging role.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license required
• Experience with students who are non-verbal and familiar with AAC devices preferred
• Comfortable working in a K-5 environment
• Ability to manage a caseload equating to approximately 3400 service minutes
• Capacity to adapt to changing needs within the district as assignments may shift between 1-2 schools
• Completion of required district credentialing including fingerprinting (with TCN number submission) and signing a technology use form

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized therapy and support to a diverse group of students, maximizing their communication potential
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement effective IEPs
• Document services and student progress accurately
• Utilize AAC devices to foster communication for non-verbal students
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and support broader student success
