Step into an impactful contract role serving elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant near Florissant, MO. This opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference for children, particularly those who are non-verbal and communicate using AAC devices. You’ll primarily support Lemasters Elementary, with the possibility of assisting another campus based on district needs, and will have a caseload totaling approximately 3400 direct service minutes.

What we’re seeking:

• Active Missouri SLP License or active SLPA License is required
• Experience in school settings or with pediatric caseloads, especially with non-verbal students and AAC technology
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule and adapt to changing assignments
• Willingness to support 1-2 school sites as needed
• Preparedness to complete district-mandated credentialing, including fingerprinting and a technology agreement
• Team mindset for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families

Core responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services to K-5 students following IEP recommendations
• Document student progress and service delivery in compliance with district standards
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement communication strategies
• Collaborate with classroom staff, integrating AAC devices into daily student routines
• Adjust service delivery models as caseload demands shift

School year schedule runs ASAP through 5/28/27, with a consistent 37.5-hour work week and a manageable school assignment.
