Production Operator (Friday-Sunday) 6PM-6AM

Randstad is seeking a dependable Weekend Night Shift Production Technician to perform hands-on material testing in a growing manufacturing facility. Working Friday through Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, this on-site role offers a base pay rate of $18.75 per hour plus a $2.50 shift differential (totaling $21.25 per hour). No prior technical background or experience is required—we are looking for reliable candidates with a proven history of job stability, a positive attitude, and able to lift 50 pounds, and desire to learn and grow within a great workplace culture. Candidates must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment and possess steel-toed shoes. Responsibilities

• Material Testing: Conduct characterization and shrinkage tests, including measuring moisture, viscosity, and slip weight.

• Data Analysis: Interpret basic Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and calculate mathematical values such as surface areas and densities.

• Equipment Setup: Prepare and set up testing equipment.

• Technical Documentation: Accurately log and record technical data.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production issues as they arise.

• Engineering Collaboration: Partner with the engineering team to optimize processes, increase yields, and reduce cycle times.

The essential functions of this role include:
