Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeWed03:45 PM - 12:15 AMThur03:45 PM - 12:15 AMFri03:45 PM - 12:15 AMSat03:45 PM - 12:15 AMSun03:45 PM - 12:15 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical facility disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and vehicle access in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining a professional and respectful presence. Complete required reports and documentation for incidents, observations, patrols, and other assigned security-related activities. Minimum Requirements Possess an Armed Guard Card/License. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Handcuffs/Pepper Spray/Baton experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
