About the Position

Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Step Down Specialty: RN Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: 2 years of PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam - Travel experience - EPIC experience - Willingness to float onsite within skill set or to nearby sites as needed Description: This position requires the traveler to work every other weekend and every other holiday. The traveler will be placed on a unit where the greatest need is, whether it is a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit based on their skills. Candidates will be accepted with either M/S or Stepdown RN credentials. Both roles have the same credentialing requirements. Completion of the RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and necessary skills assessment is required. The candidate must have travel experience and familiarity with the EPIC system. Floating to different units within a 40-mile radius may be required, as needed.
