Job Title: Medical Assistant (OB/GYN)
Location: Houston, TX 77030
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No Weekends)
Contract duration: 3 months with a strong possibility of further extension
Pay Range: $20- $24/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist patients, families, and visitors in a professional, timely, and culturally sensitive manner
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions regarding appointments, waiting times, and clinic processes
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff regarding patient arrivals, delays, and clinic updates
- Identify and address patient concerns, implementing customer service recovery measures when needed
- Monitor patients' wait times and notify clinic leadership of prolonged delays
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of related Medical Assistant experience
- Certified Medical Assistant required
- Previous OB/GYN experience is required
