Retirement Plans Specialist

Position Overview MissionSquare – Retirement Plans Specialist Salary: $84,880.00 - $127,330.00 Location: Port St. Lucie, Stuart or North Palm Beach, Florida Responsibilities Conduct one‑on‑one consultations on site at employers, engaging participants and improving outcomes in investment education, enrollment, savings rates, outside asset acquisition, and account level retention. Give group education presentations on a wide variety of financial and retirement topics to diverse constituencies. Host annual plan reviews with key decision makers of employer‑sponsored retirement plans, focusing on plan trends, investment, and participant education outcomes. Build and maintain positive working relationships with key decision makers including elected officials, board members, union representatives, and C‑suite administrators. Proactively schedule, organize, and market all daily activities and onsite client visits. Exceed all assigned production, activity, and service‑related goals. Record all daily activity accurately in contact management systems. Identify and refer new group or individual business opportunities to the appropriate manager. Represent MissionSquare at benefit fairs, conferences, and other events to promote retirement security for public sector employees. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3–5 years of related experience in financial services sales (strongly preferred); customer service experience helpful. Series 65 licensing required. Significant knowledge of retirement and investment products, emphasizing deferred compensation and defined benefit/defined contribution plans. Good understanding of specific plan provisions and legislative regulations. Experience with IRAs, 401(k)s, 403(b)s, 401(a)s, or DB plans. Demonstrated ability to market and service a geographically diverse client base. Direct sales experience desirable with closing skills preferred. Ability to overcome objections and resistance during sales presentations. Strong communication, listening, interpersonal skills, and ability to follow directions. Demonstrated ability to make effective group presentations. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Proficient in basic computer skills: Windows, internet, email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong time management and organizational skills. Spanish bilingual preferred.
