They are seeking a Partner-level attorney to support the strategic expansion of its New York City office. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our firm. Responsibilities Provide top-notch legal advice and representation to a diverse clientele on matters relating to insurance coverage, professional liability, and construction litigation. Lead trial preparation and litigation processes, ensuring the delivery of exceptional legal services. Leverage your expertise in D&O and E&O insurance services. Develop and maintain your book of business, demonstrating a commitment to client service and business development. Collaborate closely with other partners and associates to ensure the firm's strategic goals are met. Stay abreast of developments in insurance law and related fields, and use this knowledge to inform and enhance your practice. Mentor junior associates, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their professional growth. Qualifications A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 500k in portable business A proven track record as a Partner, or proven ability and book to transition into a Partner role. Significant experience in professional defense, with a particular focus on D&O and E&O insurance services. A substantial portable business, demonstrating a proven ability to attract and retain clients. Comprehensive knowledge of insurance law, and a commitment to staying informed about developments in the field. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
